Smt. Elizabeth Abraham is Assistant professor of Sociology. She has done B.A in Sociology from S.H College, Thevara. She pursued her Post Graduation In Sociology from St. Teresa’s College and secured the Third Rank In M.G. University in 1999. She did her B. Ed in Mount Carmel Training College, Kottayam. She started her career as a Guest Lecturer in C.M.S College, Kottayam from 2001 to 2003. From 2005 to 2009, she was working as Higher Secondary School Teacher in G.G.H.S.S Aluva. In December 2009, she joined St. Teresa’s College as a permanent faculty member. She was the Placement Officer of the college from 2010 onwards. She is a Resource Person for the training programmes for Higher Secondary School Teachers. She participated in the Sociology U.G syllabus Restructuring of the C.B.C.S.S in M.G. University She is a member of U.G and P.G Board of Examinations, M.G. University. Her main areas of interest are Indian Society, Statistics for Sociology and Social Psychology.
