St. Teresa's College receives 'College with Potential for Excellence' recognition from UGC
St. Teresa's College on Tuesday has been accorded the college with potential for excellence recognition by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
Cyriac Thomas, member of the National Commission for Religious and Linguistic Minorities Education, presided over the function organized to celebrate the event. In his keynote address Dr. Thomas encouraged the students to take up positions of leadership in politics and administration. He appealed to the parents to support their children and to allow their children to pursue their dreams.
Sr. Francis Ann, Provincial Superior and Manager and Sr. Christabelle, Principal, presided over the meeting. Shally Joseph, Reader, Department of Sociology and co-ordinator of research and development, presented the report on the occasion.
