The wealth of St. Teresa's lies in her students, past and present, for it is the student community that has elevated the college to her current status. Therefore we have great pleasure in announcing the reactivation of the Alumni Association. Former students can register as members at the college web site—www.teresas.ac.in or contact the Principal (# 2351870). We would like to maintain a record of former students for, after all, the tradition and history of the college rests in the alumnae. We are sure you will be interested in the developments of the college since you left the portals of this institution. The college celebrated her Platinum Jubilee in 2000. Two projects of the Jubilee were a Women's Study Centre and a Multi complex Auditorium. The Women's Study Centre became a reality within two years and the construction of the auditorium is underway now. The building is an ambitious project and will include a hall with state-of-the-art audio visual technology to seat 2000 people, an air-conditioned Conference Hall, a central Computer Centre, a Research Consultation Centre and a mini auditorium for in-house meetings and activities. We hope that you will join hands with us in the fulfillment of this dream venture. This is an opportunity for you to repay in part what you have received from your alma mater. Any contribution to the noble cause of education will not be in vain. Through your generous donation you will become a benefactor of future aspirants to higher levels of learning and share in the process of moulding them into responsible, committed and creative individuals. The Management of the college has always refrained from collecting capitation money and it is dire circumstances that have necessitated this appeal. We hope that it will not go unheeded. Contributions may be made by means of a cheque/demand draft in favour of the Platinum Jubilee Trust and sent to the following address, The Principal, St. Teresa's College, Ernakulam, Kochi-682011. You can also remit your contributions online by visiting the web page of the college and following the instructions. Official receipts will be sent to all donors. All contributions will be entitled to tax exemption under Section 80(G) of the Income Tax Act. Regards from all of us at St. Teresa's. May God bless you.
