WOMEN'S STUDY CENTRE
As part of jubilee project,'Women Empowerment and Training', the college decided to set up Women's Study Centre to offer job-oriented courses and life skill development for women. In this connection, two courses were initiated in the year 2002,and the courses were affiliated to Centre of Continuing Education, Govt.of Kerala in the year 2007.
• P. G. Diploma in Fashion Designing and Apparel Merchandising
• P. G. Diploma in Clinical Nutrition And Dietetics
Due to huge demand for U.G.Programme in Fashion Designiong, Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F.T.) was started in the year 2008 under the M.G.University Off Campus Center.
Inauguration of a new UG course B.Sc. Apparel and Fashion Design is going to be held on 19th January 2012 by Dr.Purandeswari,Hon.Minister of State for HRD(Higher Education),Govt.of India at 12.00p.m.The course will commence only after the approval from the University.
The course is based on the Core Subject - Design Thinking. |
