The UGC Sponsored Vocational Course in B.Sc. Computer Applications was started in 1995. Affiliation was granted for B.Sc. in Computer Applications with Mathematics and Statistics as subsidiary subjects. The first batch of students graduated in the year 1998 with cent percentage result. The course structure was revised in 2000 offering Mathematics and Statistics as optional subjects. Under this scheme students are eligible to join post graduation courses in Computer, Mathematics and Statistics and B. Ed. in Mathematics.
Credit system was introduced from 2009 onwards.
