Temperatures soared; loud cheers rent the air as young Teresians vied with one another for the coveted Miss Teresian crown. An event that capped the week long talent competitions of both the literary and of the physique had girl power at its best. A wonderful amalgamation of teachers and students gathered and cheered the beauty of woman hood. Rhea John, first runner up felt that she was able to dream big because she was confident and bold enough to voice her thoughts no matter what the situation be. Wayalana Shahnaz Jabbir who walked away with the crown with her measured and mature opinion that the best gift a woman should enjoy and experience is motherhood and that if other women choose to help others by offering their wombs it is the most beautiful act. The winners of the other titles were Miss Beautiful Smile-Sonia, Ambili Abraham- Miss Congeniality-Wayalana Shahnaz Jabbir-Miss Best Dressed and Miss Beautiful Hair, Rupa John- Miss Talented. TV personality, Annie Philip, a former Navy Queen, Deepa Verma, Shoba Kunjan, a beautician, Miss Kerala 2007- Rohini Mariam Idicula and CEO of 94.3 FM, Srinath were the judges for the event. The event was girl power at its best.
