The NCC has an active army subunit functioning in the College. Being the single largest youth organisation in the world, NCC provides the cadets with ample opportunities to enhance their character, leadership, initiative, drive and comradeship amongst the youth. The wide array of activities undertaken by the NCC include basic training sessions in first-aid, drill para signals, home nursing, communication, map reading and weapon training. Advanced training in mountaineering, rock climbing, para jumping and cycling offer the cadets exciting vistas to quench their thirst for adventure. Apart from building sense of patriotism, it also moulds the cadets into able and smart citizens of tomorrow.
Students are enrolled after a selection procedure. Those who acquire the prescribed training are given certificates, which make them eligible for grace marks in admission for higher studies - 15 marks for degree and for 5 marks for PG....read more...

27th June 2011- A rally to promote 'Anti-Tobacco' was conducted which was inaugurated by Lt/Col Shri Kumar, Administrative Officer, 21 (K)Bn NCC Unit Ernakulam.

Cpl Anasa, L/Cpl Aparna P and Cpl Resma Mohan attended RD Training under Ex-RD Lenin Joseph at Maharaja's College.

15th August 2011- Independence Day Parade was held in Marine Drive. 30 cadets led by CQMS Greeshma George showcased parade. Minister K.Babu was the Chief Guest for the occassion.

9 Cadets attended Annual Training Camp which was held at Sree Sankara College, Kalady from September 4 - September 11

Cpl Anasa, L/Cpl Aparna P and Cpl Resma Mohan attended the Pre IGC held at Thrissur. L/Cpl Aparna P and Cpl Resma Mohan attended IGC.

11th October 2011- A blood donation camp was held by IMA. 11 cadets took part in it. 13th October 2011 - A rally was held as part of International Day for Disaster Reduction. 30 Cadets took part in it.

NCC Day was celebrated on 25th & 26th November 2011. As part of the celebrations, 33 Cadets along with ANO Dr. Seleena K.V visited an old age home in Thevara. Drill test and cultural competitions were held in college for which Lt/Col N.T Jose, Commanding Officer, 21 (K) Bn NCC Unit was the Chief guest.

1st December 2011- As part of Aids Day, our cadets took part in a rally that started from High Court to Maharaja's College.

A rally was organized by the college for the cause 'Mullaperiyar Dam'. NCC Cadets led the rally. 7th December 2011- Armed Forces Flag Day- A day dedicated towards collection of funds to commemorate this day as an honour to the soldiers, airmen and sailors of India. An amount of Rs.6000 was collected.

21 Cadets attended Annual Training Camp which was held at Aquinas College, Edakochi from December 22 - December 30. The college bagged the runners up trophy for the various literary and cultural competitions held at the camp.

26th January 2012- Republic Day parade was conducted in the college. Principal Rev.Dr.Sr. Teresa Hoisted the National Flag and received salute from NCC cadets.

7 Cadets attended SNIC-Delhi from 18th Jan - 28th Jan. They performed a dance for the Prime Minister's Rally in the presence of Prime Minister, Defence Minister and other Honorable Dignitaries of NCC.

10 Cadets took part in the 'Shuchitwa Varsham' programme held at Town Hall, Ernakulam.The class included practical training in waste management.

33 Cadets attended for 'B' certificate examination and 5 cadets for 'C' certificate examination. Junior Under Officer Nayana Tensing of History and CQMS Greeshma George of Mathematics have been adjudged the Best Cadets for 2011-12
