BA-Bharathnatyam

The Bachelor Degree Course in Bharathanatyam is offered by the Department of Bharathanatyam.

About the course
Main Subject - Bharathanatyam
Consisting of both theory and practical sessions, University exams are conducted every year for both theory and practicals separately.

Subsidiaries
1. Abhinaya Sangeetha (Dance music)
2. Mohiniyattam (Classical Dance form of Kerala)

The Subsidiaries are taught only in practical sessions and the exams are conducted during the 2nd year university exams.

Language Papers
1. Compulsory Ist Language - English
Consists of two papers in the first year and a 3rd paper during the 2nd year University Exams.

2. Elective Language Paper
The candidate is given the choice among three languages (French, Hindi, Malayalam) and has to choose one for study. The exams are conducted for I paper in the first year and for 2 papers in the second year.
