The department has produced very good academic results with pass percentage of above 90% for both B.Sc and M.Sc, due to combined efforts of dedicated faculty members and hardworking students. The department has bagged   ranks for B.Sc Physics throughout the last eight years (1999-2008) also third rank for M.Sc in the years 2003 and 2007. Ms. Sreechitra V R bagged first rank and Ms. Anju Claranel Thomas, third rank for Mahatma Gandhi University BSc Physics examination. Ms. Jubimol won first rank in BSc physics last year with the highest score in the history of M G University.
