The Golden jubilee celebration of Kerala Piravi 2006-07 was held with much favour and enthusiasm on 11th November 2006. The celebration sparked off with the traditional Chingari Melam. The chief guest of the day, playback singer Markose, graced the occassion with his voice. Dr.C.P.Thara delivered the key note address for the function.

To add more spice to the function these were cultural activities ranging from traditional dance forms, folk song and a musical tablear depicting the paintings of Ravi varma. this was followed by the Malayalee Manga competition in which Jincy Joseph III B.A. History, was chosen as the Malayalee Manga 20006-07.
