M.Sc. Child Development
The post graduate programme in Child Development offers a comprehensive study of the growth and development of human beings from the prenatal stage till the time of late adolescence. Its main thrust is to create an understanding of the innate and ecological factors in the maturation and manifestation of the physical and psychological phenomena in the human offspring. Both the normal and the deviant child come within the purview of this subject. An integration of theory, practicals and hands on training and instructional methods aim at equipping the students with the necessary skills and proficiencies for a wide variety of career options.
Eligibility: A pass in the B.Sc. Family and Community Science/ Home Science exam with minimum 55% marks.
