IGNOU Convergence Scheme
This unique scheme aims at blending the conventional University system and Open & Distance Learning (ODL) system through enhanced and optimal utilization of the physical infrastructure, intellectual and knowledge resources in the institutions.
St Teresa's College (STC3570) is an approved Partner Institution of the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi under the Convergence Scheme from the academic year 2008-2009.
Through this scheme the college aims at imparting crucial job skills to the students through various certificate programmes, thus enabling them to acquire an additional certificate along with their Degree certificates. Students can pursue these certificate programmes along with their regular Degree programmes.

Course Details...
Programme Delivery
Application forms can be obtained from the college office by paying ` 100/- and submitted to the IGNOU office at the college within the stipulated date. Once admitted to the programme self instructional study materials will be given to the student. This will be supported by counselling classes for the specified number of hours. At present classes of 1.5 hrs are conducted twice a week for the required period. Timings may vary and will be fixed according to the college timetable.Continuous assessment based on attendance and assignments for each paper is given to test the comprehension level of the students. This will be followed by the term end examination.
